1. What is the ELA / A.T. Kearney study?

Since 1982 the European Logistics Association (ELA) and A.T. Kearney have been conducting a Europe-wide study on the efficiency of European supply chains every five years. Core focus of the study is to define new development trends in shaping and steering European supply chains as well as gathering informative benchmarks in a European longitudinal and cross-sectional comparison.

2. Why should I participate?

The study results will enable you to benchmark your company's performance with that of comparable companies. The consolidated findings will pinpoint gaps between the logistic leaders and the average performers All participants will receive an individual feedback report which will clearly highlight your company's position.

All data in the questionnaire will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be accessible to the members of the "ELA / A.T. Kearney Study" core team. Results will only be published in the form of sanitized, statistical averages and/or trend curves.

7. Will my participation in the competition be announced publicly?

Due to confidentiality the participants' names will not be published.

8. How much time does it take to fill out the questionnaire?

1 to 2 hours due to availability of the needed data.

9. On which level should the filling out of the questionnaire be coordinated?

As several persons generally fill out the questionnaire, one person appointed by the top management should act as the coordinator who supports the overall process.

10. Do all questions always have to be answered?
|

The questionnaire should be applicable for very different industries, however, the case may be that certain questions cannot be answered meaningfully for your company. In such cases, please enter "n/a", "not applicable" and briefly state why the question cannot be answered. If there is relevant information on the other page that you would additionally like to provide us with, please do so by all means in an enclosure.

11. How can I receive support when filling in the questionnaire?
